Learn how to access free ebooks and more at MCPL Wausau

Are you interested diving into the world of electronic books, audio books and videos, with free access to thousands of titles just a download away? Let the Marathon County Public Library show you the ropes during its “Library Learning: Wisconsin’s Digital Library” class on Jan. 3 from 5:30-7 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Library staff will teach area residents about Wisconsin’s Digital Library, more commonly known as OverDrive. Attendees will learn how to get their tablets and smartphones set up with the OverDrive app, as well as how to use their library card to browse, checkout and download titles from the app. These classes will be especially helpful for anyone who receives a tablet or smartphone as a holiday gift!
In addition to the class on Jan. 3, sessions will also be held on the following dates:
•Wed., 1/04/17, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. @ MCPL Wausau
•Tue., 1/17/17, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. @ MCPL Wausau
•Wed., 1/18/17, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. @ MCPL Wausau
