Science program at MCPL Wausau HQ will float your boat
The Marathon County Public Library is “going overboard” for its next program and kids in grades K-5 are invited! MCPL will offer its “Boat Science” program on Dec. 8 from 4-5 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Kids will first learn the science behind how boats float and carry heavy cargo. Then, they’ll have the opportunity to construct their own boats out of tin foil and test how much they can hold while floating in the water! Free and open to the public, with all supplies provided.
