20th annual event supports Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services
Festival of Trees is celebrating its 20th anniversary of ringing in the holiday season for area residents. It not only marks the beginning of the holiday season, but more importantly, it helps raise funds for people in our community experiencing end-of-life illness.

The annual fundraising event for Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services is once again being held at Stoney Creek Inn in Rothschild. The sold out Butterfly Luncheon at Wausau Country Club officially kicks off Festival of Trees on Nov. 17, while the holiday-themed, family-friendly festivities and entertainment at Stoney Creek Inn begin Nov. 22 and run through Nov. 27.

This year, Festival of Trees features three special events at Stoney Creek Inn – Opening Night Gala, Senior Stroll and two seatings for the Teddy Bear Breakfast.

In addition to the special events, people can come to Stoney Creek Inn during daily hours to browse the beautifully decorated trees and purchase holiday items. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of entertainment performed by local musicians and kids can visit with Santa during scheduled times. Daily hours begin on Nov. 23 and vary each day.

The mission of the Festival of Trees is to create a holiday tradition to be shared by the entire community for the purpose of generating significant funds, which will benefit Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
